When you make a booking you are entering into an agreement with us. Please read our Terms and Conditions of booking below.

Arrival and Departure

Timings for a Day Booking start at 9am and finish at 5pm. Arrival and departure can be at any point within those times.

A Half Day Booking is 4 hours either in the morning or the afternoon.

An Evening Booking is 3 hours after 6pm and before 10pm.

Reservations

Please note the cancellation policy before committing to a reservation.

Full payment is required to confirm your booking.

Cancellation by the Guest

We are a small business, so cancellations can have a big impact on us, especially if we have turned away other potential reservations. We do, however, appreciate that unforeseen circumstances can intervene, and we try to be a sympathetic and helpful as possible.

Cancellations up to 14 days prior to the scheduled date of arrive will receive a full refund.

Cancellations less than 14 days before the scheduled date of arrival but more than 7 days before the scheduled date of arrival will receive a 50% refund.

Cancellations made less than 7 days before the scheduled date of arrival will not receive a refund.

Cancellation by Us

Should it become necessary for us to cancel a booking we will contact you immediately. Any payments made will be refunded in full.

Car Parking

Car parking is available for those using The Oak Room. Car are parked here at the owner’ risk.

Damages and Breakages

Please take care of The Oak Room and it’s surrounding gardens and facilities. You are responsible and liable for any breakages or damages which you cause to the property or its contents. Please report these as soon as they occur especially if you accidentally spill something - it’s much easier to clean if we know what it is and if we are able to act quickly. We do not normally charge for minor breakages, but we reserve the right to charge for repair or making good if we deem the damage to be significant.

Data

Some of the data gathered during the course of a reservation may be held on a computer. We would like to hold this data after your visit to be able to inform you of future offers. If you would prefer us not to hold this information please let us know. Please see our Privacy Policy for further information.

Liability

We do not accept any liability for any damage, loss or injury to any member of your party or any vehicles or possessions, unless proven to be caused by a negligent act bye ourselves.

Lost Property

We are happy to return items that have been left following departure. However, there will be a minimum charge of £10 to cover postage and packaging.

Miss Items

We reserve the right to charge for missing items

Pets

Pets are not permitted in The Oak Room. Well behaved assistance dogs are welcome.

Prices

We reserve the right to change our prices at any time. This does not affect bookings already made.

Smoking

Smoking (cigarettes or e-cigarettes) is NOT permitted within The Oak Room or anyway on the property of Lupton House. Please note that offending guests may be asked to leave immediately.

Termination Policy

We reserve the right, at our discretion, to terminate, without notice, a booking where deemed necessary through unacceptable behaviour or as a result of actions which are likely to endanger or offend others. Please not that non-compliance of our non-smoking policy may result in termination. In such circumstances no refunds will be made.

Wi-Fi Access

By using our Wi-Fi Service you automatically agree to the terms and conditions of use in for at the time.

We reserve the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time.

If any provision of this agreement is found to be unenforceable by a course of competent jurisdiction, the other provisions shall nevertheless remain in full force and effect.

This agreement is governed by laws of England and the parties hereto submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
